Newsletter – September 2010

New Zealand GST & PAYE Changes

We are not far away from when the new GST rate & PAYE takes effect. Earlier this month, we emailed out a ‘GST Newsletter’ offering clients the option of using a unique interface written specifically to assist in making the GST transition easier or alternatively make the changes manually without utilising the facility.

The GST Newsletter also contained useful information in relation to the new GST rates that will come into effect. If you have not yet received that newsletter, you can view a copy here.

All clients that have opted for the ‘GST Utility Upgrade’, should have or will shortly receive the upgrade and instructions on how to update your CSoft. Again, if you do not receive this upgrade by late September, please contact us.

Auckland Phone Number

Unfortunately, there are still some clients calling the CSoft Support Desk on the old phone number.

Our contact number is (09) 373 5775 effective since 1st March 2010.

We will be removing the redirect on that number by the end of October. If you have not updated your records please do so as soon as possible.

Update on Version 9.2

Late last month, we had the opportunity to attend the Revelation Road-show hosted by our database providers. There are a lot of new enhancements and features that have been incorporated into this version. Some of these will be incorporated in future releases.

At this stage, we anticipate to have a full web interface system to offer new and existing clients sometime in 2011 utilising the new features and tools.

Accountants & Bookkeepers Promotion

We have recently started to actively market our software to Accountants & Bookkeepers.

They can now recommend their clients to consider an alternative to typically ‘off the shelf’ software that does not meet their requirements or where they’ve simply out-grown their existing software.

A new Accountant/Client Interface has also been built into our software allowing users to send data files to the Accountant more easily.

At present, accountants or bookkeepers will receive a FREE 1 user licence for use of CSoft. Thereafter, for any more clients they successfully recommend CSoft to, we are offering a commission payment in return.

Support calls from Accountants on behalf of clients will be charged to the client and/or will form part of their support agreement.

If you are using an accountant or bookkeeper, please feel free to advise them of our current promotion. Your referrals would be highly appreciated.

Promotion

We are currently offering a Cash Incentive to anyone who provides us a successful introduction to a new client. The value will be based on the size of the initial system and will start at $125 with a maximum of $1,000. The payment will be made upon the successful installation of the system.

Auckland - Training

We have recently signed an agreement with Jackie Burns who is a trainer and certified bookkeeper to assist in client specific training sessions. We are also considering running a General Training session at our Offices in Parnell before the end of 2011. Please register your interest by emailing us on training@csbmgmt.com . If we get enough interest a suitable date will be advised.

Facebook & Twitter

In keeping up with the current technology trends, we have created Facebook & Twitter accounts as another medium of communicating with clients. These are now being updated on a regular basis. Feel free to link, contribute and comment.
